Let's MCP IMAP

This is the hosted MCP endpoint for any standard IMAP mailbox. Point your AI app at:

Have more than one mailbox? Add the connector once per mailbox, each with its own label at the end of the address, for example https://imap.letsmcp.org/mcp/work and https://imap.letsmcp.org/mcp/personal. The label only keeps the addresses distinct for your AI app; each connection holds its own mailbox settings.

With it, your AI can list, search and read your mail and attachments, in every folder; and, only at the permission level you choose when connecting, organize it (flags, folders, moving, drafts) or also send, reply, forward and delete.

Connecting takes two steps: sign in with Google so the connection belongs to your free Let's MCP account, then enter your mail server settings and password, press Test, and Connect. The password is stored encrypted inside your connection and used only to make the requests your AI makes. Mail is read from your server when asked and never stored here. Details: privacy policy. What works

Any provider that offers IMAP over SSL/TLS (usually port 993) and SMTP on port 465 or 587 with a password or app password: most web hosts, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL, iCloud, Fastmail, Zoho, GMX and self-hosted servers. Microsoft 365 and Outlook.com no longer allow password sign-in over IMAP, so they can't be connected.

Limits

Free while it is cheap to run. Each account has a per-minute and a per-day limit, and the whole service has a daily cap; when one is reached, requests return 429 or 503 with a Retry-After header instead of failing silently.

Disconnect

Visit /revoke at any time. Disconnecting deletes the stored password here. If you used an app password, also delete it at your provider to be sure it can never be used again.
